Doctor Raya is the CEO and Founder of Raya’s Rays of Light Foundation. Her professional background consists of mental/behavioral health, drug & alcohol rehabilitation, cognitive behavioral issues, and more. Nurse Leslie is the Director of the organization. Her professional background consists of geriatric care, utilization management, care coordination, mental/behavioral health, and more. The Raya’s Rays of Light Foundation was established to provide individuals with the necessary resources, education, and support lacking in our community. Ray of Hope: The Podcast will discuss overall wellness from a relatable point-of-view to create positive change and improve individual and community relationships. We want to close the gap on financial and health disparities in our community and to encourage favorable wellness outcomes for all.

On this episode, I speak with Dytania Hudson aka Tania who is the proud mother of 3. She is a community educator and member of Ohio Family's Unite Against Police Brutality. She is also the founder of S.T.O.P: Start Teaching Our People. Tania is working with several organizations such as Moms in Healing, Urban GEMS and is currently a foster parent.
She lost 2 of her 3 children and 1 grandson. Johnny L. Bell, III lost his life in our community to senseless gun violence a day before Mother's Day in 2009. Deaunte Bell was shot and killed by 2 Columbus, Ohio police officers on 10/2015. Her grandson was killed by a hit and run driver. She is sharing her story to seek justice and reform laws and policies.
